I think we will look at other options on our next visit. I do think that, with the pool closed, a reduction, in the resort fee would have been appropriate. In general, the staff was friendly, and the drinking and dining choices were good. There were people clearly smoking or vaping or using marijuana on our non-smoking floor. The lack of any utensils plates, cups, or bar tools, passed an ice bucket, was not unexpected. I was surprised that the suite did not have a microwave. To top it off my Verizon cellular service in the room was very poor. Wi-Fi access was all but unusable even after paying for the upgrade.
It took 20 minutes to get hot water in the shower.
The suite is starting to show its age with many of the cabinets a bit worn. This year again we rented the large, suite to give us room to work, and entertain. We have been coming to Sunset Station for years individually, and as a family.
